i had a sick boy in hospital today, so i never managed a card, buut here are a couple i did as extras this month!! - yep more xmas ones - hubby thinks i am insane!

and as a little something extra, i thought i would share this small snail card i made using the cutest snail stamp!!!! he is all watercoloured too, but it didnt scan that well :(

how was your day today? i spent the whole day in my garden...gots lots done, but now i am soooo sunburnt...ouch!

i stuck a little metal letter on top of the button, it totally changes the whole look of the button.

Aussie Aussie Aussie!!!!! happy Australia day !!!

create a male birthday card ...with eyelets on it....remember eyelets?! lol, i know i havent used mine for yonks, so dust them off and have a go at putting them on a card.

a very simple one i know, but i did use 12 eyelets!

februarys challenge

Starting on the first of February, there will be a competition here! There will be prizes there will be lots of creating!
Here are the deets –
Every day I will be posting a new challenge as per normal on the blog. (No group emails will be sent sorry!)The challenges for Feb. will have no set theme (e.g. birthday cards, congrats etc) but will have a technique or product that must be used.
In order to qualify for a prize at the end of the month, you must email me your creations by midnight on Sundays (Qld time). You can still send them every day, but in case you can’t make it to the computer I have made it a bit easier for you!
When you send me your creations, could you save them with your name and the date it is for (e.g. tina24th) if that makes sense?! It helps me out a little with organizing myself! But that’s not all!!! It’s not that easy!
At the end of the month, whoever has sent in a card for every challenge will receive a little something in the mail... And to make it interesting...whoever has sent in the most cards will receive a little something extra!
So who’s up for the challenge?
If you want to join in, email me your name and home address so I can get prizes out ASAP. Feel free to spread the word, the more the merrier :)

i cheated a little with the ribbon part......the diecut tag has ribbon printed on it! it is ribbon of sorts...so it counts! lol

wow..its the 20th already! it will be xmas again before we know it! are you are you all keeping up with the cards?

i have finished next months claendar of challenges, and it will be slightly easier ....no occasions...just techniques and product usage....that way its up to you to figure out what you need cards for! january was a headstart!!!

mum sent thru her creation for yesterdays challenge - and now for todays challenge -

create a thank you card with swirls on it.

this one was a little tricky for me, as all my inks are on holiday atm (dont ask!) so i couldnt use my pretty swirl stamps :(

but taadaa! i found a really nice scrap of pp that had swirls on it! yay!! lol

and here is my version of the sketch...yep froggy again! i am determined to use all my scrap pp for the cards..so far so good :)

please pretend you got this post yesterday!

today's challenge is to create a boys card with something interactive on it.

this challenge for the 18Th was a little tricky for me, i wanted to do something i hadn't tried before, so i went to one of my fave blogs, got a tutorial from there and had a go! beates site has heaps of really cool tutorials for all kinds of cards...very cool :) if you want to check it out - http://beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/ you wont regret it!!

anyway...back to the challenge - here's my card when it is closed it looks very simple (just a frog) but pull the tag..and taadaa!!! i love it!

it took me awhile to get it right because i lost my ruler with inches on it so i had to convert all measurements as i went along (the tutorials are American, so everything is in inches) but i got there in the end..

time to share creations again -

heres a beautiful purple card made by jackie..i love that stamp set...and i love the card!(even though i usually hate purple!!) -

and a card with a matching tag by deb (love the colour scheme on this one too!) -

and now for todays challenge -

create a congratulations card (or a card that can be used for a congratulations card) with some sort of stamping on it

heres my creation - i have used all scraps for this one (except the stamping) the stamps are done in versamark and are not as "stand-outish" as they scanned..but you get that:)
