stamping...

yesterdays challenge over at http://dutchdare-cardchallenges.blogspot.com/ was to use a stamp print somewhere on your card. i can now share the card i made for this challenge!

i love the way this one turned out.
i used the sketch from http://poeticartistry.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html (mojo monday). the paper is basic grey (nathan obb-467) scrap black card and green card (as usual!), flower trio stamp (rhonna farrer) sentiment - happy harmony (stampin up) and black grosgrain ribbon (also stampin up) thats it, you cant see it here, but the flower block is raised up a little with mounting squares.
head on over to dutch dare if you want to see what the other members of the DT did for this challenge!
have a great day!

gift card cards...

i made 20 of these cards for some parents in my sons prep class who helped at our school fair. each card holds a gift card to the local mini golf. i think they turned out prety cute! i used my new bird stamps again (the facination should wear off soon!) and the thank you stamp is a stampin up one.

have a great day

for Bep!

this is a card i did for another swap over at first swap blog. this was jetting its way over to Bep in Holland (Hi Bep!!!) and now that she has received it, i can share..yay!!!

Bep sent me this sketch to use for her card -
and heres what i came up with! -

what do you think? this sketch was a bit tricky, only cause of all the detail i had to try and cram on a card front! i left off a few details from the sketch, but i dont think it matters much...sketches are open for interpretation arent they?! i think it looks great anyways!
and heres whats on the inside -

yep, its that stamp set again!

now onto todays challenge -

i challenge you to use stickers or a stamp that is designed for children, on a card for an adult. (does that make sense?) for example...i used a packet of Disney princess stickers for the front of Beps card.

have fun with it!
