some creations!

wow, life has been hectic lately! i havent had much time for cards, (i have made heaps of layouts though!) but i have managed a few!

heres a really simple one, using the leftovers from an aussle i did for the scrap heap..this one would be gret for a male card too..easy

i made this cute little card for my friend who recently had her bubba girl, i just love the way it turned out...it is so cute!

and another one using scraps from a layout. i used a penny black stamp on it, cant see it that well, but the dress is very sparkly irl.

these ones i did for a card swap (over at the scrap heap)

using only scraps again, i kept them simple cause i had to mass produce! lol ..hope you like them girls!!

it was a hard decision...but i think i made the right one.....i have resigned from the dutch dare design team :-( with bub on the way, and being asked to join another team (more info on other blog!) i was worried i might not be able to keep up with everything! i loved creating the cards for them...but now i am concentrating more on my layouts again.....but dont panic!!! i will still try to make cards every now and then see??! (dont think i have shared these yet!)

so if i dont update for awhile...you know i am flat out!!!!!

todays challenge over at dd was to make a boys card...i decided to challenge myself a bit on this one and try to make a boys birthday card...but use my penny black xmas stamps! heres what i came up with -

i used scrap kaiser paper, and the stamp is the 12 drummers drumming one!

the dare over at dutch dare last week was to make a card with no straight edges on the card....heres what i came up with first.....

but decided it was too "straight" so came up with this one for submission! -

i dont normally make get well soon cards ( i prefer blank ones that i can write whatever in it!) but todays challenge over at DD was to make a get well soon card.

heres what i came up with -

ingredients used - VERY old stampin up paper (spring flowers) provocraft lettering, yellow bazzil flower, pink (green tara?) flower, brown brads, brown bazzil, scrap white and pink bazzil, random ribbon (might be stampin up but then again, might not be!)

todays challenge over at DD was to use an animal print as the main image. heres my creation -

ingredient list - the chick and sentiment are studio G(?), no idea on the purple paper as it is scrap,white stampin up grosgrain ribbon, brads are bazzil basics, scrap bit of purple wool, white bazzil put thru swiss dots folder in cuttlebug, also used a little glass effects on the balloon.

todays challenge over at DD was to use black white and one other colour only. heres my card -
ingredients - kaisercraft paper, dream sticker (it was very old so i have no idea of the brand!) prima flower, random black brads, bazzil cardstock, the scallops are drawn with white pencil, and scrap black ribbon.

this would have to be my favourite card i have made so far lately. it turned out very elegant.
